hangover sunday
We’ve all been there. Out too late. Drank too much. Said too much. Everything too much? and now you definitely woke up like this. You seem to vaguely remember hugging your friends goodbye. Or were they strangers in line for the bathroom that you kept calling your friends?
The good news: you didn't get arrested. the bad news: going to get a bacon, egg and cheese requires pants. So what can you make in this shattered state?
We’ve got you covered with a cure that consists of ingredients you probably already have in your cupboard. yes, it calls for five cloves of garlic, but let's get real: you’re not kissing anyone today. You’ve got mascara crusted to your lower lid from last night, and it’s 3pm. Think about your life choices.
and remember...it feels like you're going to die now, but keith richards is 71. you're going to be just fine.
eat.
ingredients
- 1 12 oz. box of spaghetti
- 4 TBSP butter
- 4 TBSP olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 5 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
hangover pasta
serves: your hungover ass (or four normal humans)
1. Boil pasta according to instructions on the box. Just make the whole box. Don't kid yourself. You need carbs and fat. And if you don't eat it (you will), it makes for great leftovers.
2. Before you drain your pasta, reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water.
3. Drain pasta in a colander and put the empty pot back on the heat on low. Add butter, olive oil and salt in the pot.
4. When the butter begins to brown, toss in the pasta, reserve cooking liquid and cheese.
5. Stir vigorously until cheese melts. Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
6. Eat immediately. And take a shower.

let's just grab something easy today, ok? Thanks to new wider distribution, we can all enjoy this hearty (but not hoppy) Michigan beer to help you steer into the skid.
It's just science. Researchers are recommending beer after "exhausting activities." I can't think of anything more exhausting than a drunk night's sleep.
